"The author is an Indonesian citizen from Acheh, Sumatra, Indonesia. He graduated in Islamic Laws, Theology and Arabic Language from Ma'had Iskandar Muda and Normal Islam in Acheh and from the Islamic University in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. At present, he is a permanent resident in the Philippines. He was one of the founders in 1951 of the first Islamic school recognized by the Philippine government-the Kamilol Islam Institute in Marawi City-now the Jamiatul Philippines Al-Islamia.
During all these years of his stay
in the Philippines, he has earned the following academic degrees: B.A.
(Bachelor of Arts) in Political Science; Far Eastern University; BSC (Bachelor
of Science in Commerce) major in Banking and Finance; BSPA (Bachelor of
Science in Public Administration, Lyceum of the Philippines; BSFS (Bachelor
of Science in Foreign Service) and MA (Master of Arts) in Political Science,
University of Manila.
The author has written a number of
books. In Arabic: Muzakkiraatun Nahwiyyah, Sarful Waadhih, Tahziibul
Akhlaag, Taarlikh Al Khulaffa-ir Raashdiin, Qira 'atul Mufiidah.
In English: Position of Sumatra in the Republic of Indonesia, Foreign
Relations of the Republic of Indonesia, Foreign Relations of the Republic
of Indonesia-Historical Survey, Islamic Prayers, Fundamental Teachnings
of Islam, the Life of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and his Moral Teachings, Islamic
Ethics and Morality and Stories of Twenty Five Prophets Mentioned in the
Holy Qur'an. He is also a co-author of: Political and Cultural History
of Indonesia and Philippine-Indonesia Relations, while being also a permanent
contributor to an Indonesian cultural and scientific magazine, "Sinar Darussalam"
in Bandah Acjeh, Indonesia.
He is married to a Muslim Filipina former Miss Sipur (Rahma) Mabaning from Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, Philippines from whom he has five daughters and five sons."
